Two sides of a coin that is E-Commerce

 Today, our daily life runs with e-commerce. We know the risk being more into e-commerce. But the ease in doing our needs makes us more attracted towards this.

 Let's briefly look at some positives and negatives ways which e-commerce impacted on its consumers. 


Talking about the positives, 

  • It is so simple that you could select and buy what you want in one touch. The tradition to wait in a queues is not required here.
  • We can search for wide varieties of a product. A shop may have only limited space to place their products. But this problem is not seen in this sector. 
  • The price of products is lower when compared to shops. They give offers and best quality products at the same time. We can see certain products with great difference in its price in shops and online platform.
  • The comfort of being at home and shopping as much as you need, only available in here. This system helps us a lot in emergency situations too.
  • The most important factor to be noted is time. We can save enough time for shopping. The tiresome visits to shops for searching needed products can be avoided.
Now let's look into the negatives for e-commerce. They are;

  • When we go and buy something from a shop, we will get the product with us. But in e-commerce, it takes time. There will be a specific date which we can receive our product at home. till then we should wait. And sometimes, this may not arrive at the given date too.
  • In online shopping, we will be giving out our details for payment processes. And this is privacy leak. Safety has no guarantee in this.
  • If we order online with products having less price, the delivery charge or shipping charge gets included. And this will make a huge difference with the actual price of the product. At that time, we may think that, actual shopping was good than this.
  • Sometimes replacing a product which we brought becomes impossible in e-commerce. And this turns to be a idiocy or destitution at times.
  • In online shopping, we are not able to feel a product. We just believe what they show. And sometimes we get products which comes entirely different to what we ordered. 
So in this way e-commerce has its positives and negatives. Its good to know everything in both angles to lead a happy and safe life.
