Why are these famous brands so important in our lives?

I am a person who's long been attached to her phone. No matter what the circumstances maybe, I will always have a phone in my hand. What do I do on my phone, you ask? I will always be surfing through either Whatsapp or Instagram. Don't ask me why am I interested to look at it, I just know that I am addicted.

Today, the top 10 brands in the world in terms of brand value are:

1. Instagram

2. WhatsApp

3. Amazon

4. Apple

5. Google

6. Facebook

7. Uber

8. YouTube

9. Netflix

10. Gmail

All these apps are extremely important in a person's life. While some apps can make lives, some apps can break them. Although I am a person who likes all of these apps, some people just do not understand them. While Facebook can be a toxic place for people because of the moral policing held by the 'boomers' of today, Instagram is comparatively more free and relaxed. Coming to the e-commerce app that is Amazon, many people still support the fact that physically shopping for things is much easier than buying them online. While a status statement for many, Apple proves to be life-changing for many people. Owning an iPhone makes them that much more confident in life. I know that everyone will agree to the fact that WhatsApp has made life that much better to communicate with everyone, no matter where they live. YouTube and Netflix are basic entertainment apps that'll provide you with endless fun and drama no matter where you go.

These apps command really high brand value as no millennials from the 21st century can live without them. It is very important to them. Many aspects of their life only depend on the apps. There is not one 20-something individual right now who does not know what each of these apps is. This is exactly why these apps have such a high brand value.

When we talk about what's common between them, the main thing is that all of these apps are online. They are also free. All of the services provided by these apps can be received effortlessly, wherever you are. Be it talking to your long-distance friend, supporting your friend's new clothing page, traveling out of the city, or even buy groceries for your mom who lives in another state, these apps can do it all. Simple things like being easy to understand, being helpful, efficient, etc. are what these apps have in common with each other.

Their differences are not that many in number. The first thing to be kept in mind is that all of these apps serve different purposes. While some are for networking, others are for entertainment. While some are for e-commerce, others are purely just to give you answers. Minor differences like these can be found. Ultimately, when it comes to it, all of them provide us one service or the other. Although it may look like they are interconnected to each other, each of them is unique and different, just like how we may use our phone for various reasons.
